I Believe in Me.
Four simple words when strung together in a particular way are phenomenally life-changing or have the potential to be life-changing. That’s what’s so exciting about belief.
Belief is a set of thoughts that you think with a particular emotion attached that propels you to act in a specific manner and creates the life circumstances that you’re currently living. When you break down the actual mechanics of belief, it’s very straightforward.
Actually walking out the steps, now, that can be terrifying. We won’t go into those steps a day. That’s a full lesson that takes some time to absorb. Today, I want to encourage you to consider believing in yourself if you don’t and to dig deeper and believe greater. If you do believe in yourself, most people look for confirmation from their actions externally from society at large, whether that’s your family, your friends, people you see on television, and imitate.
Everyone wants to be validated. The challenge comes in when we bypass the one place well, we can get real validation from ourselves experiences so meat that most people do not believe in himself. Again, I want to encourage you to believe in yourself. Stop going outside and trust you.
You have been with you your entire life through every situation, every hurt, every pain, every joy, every challenge, and every victory. No one has a better answer for your life than you do. Take a chance. Believe in yourself. The worst thing that could happen is that you make the best choice for yourself. It’s a win-win situation. If you’re not accustomed to believing in yourself, it will feel weird when you start. That’s normal.
Every day for the next seven days said to yourself, I Believe in Me. I Believe in Me. I Believe in Me. I Believe in Me. Do that 25 times a day. Set a daily reminder on your cell phone and hold yourself accountable. Watch how your self-confidence begins to soar. At first, it will be something that you consider to maybe be small, like getting a task done that you’ve been putting off, but little things add up and soon you will see improvement in your life in seven short days.
If you like accelerated learning, set the clock on your phone for three times a day, morning, afternoon, and evening, and tell yourself out loud, I believe in me 25 times and see how much faster you start to believe in yourself. I’ll take an inventory of all the incredible changes that happen. Remember, only you.
You can create the life you want and that begins with believing in yourself.
